Stephen Garvey
From ideation to implementation, Steve plays an integral role in developing, creating and overseeing promotional marketing and advertising campaigns in the mediums of print, interactive, radio and television. His focus is evenly divided between researching the clients’ products or services, understanding their target markets and working with the clients to deliver high-quality creative.
In the past eight years, Steve has work on five Olympic campaigns for NBC Universal (Sydney, Salt Lake City, Athens, Torino and Beijing), as the manager of copy and communications. Projects have included consultative Local Ad Sales and Marketing Support Tools Kits, the NBC/Visa “Bring Home the Gold” national consumer promotion, the “Visions of Glory” national student contest and advertising across all mediums. Since graduating New York University’s writing program, Steve has worn the hats of Manager of Development for Laurel Entertainment – a Spelling Company, and writer/emcee of Darden Restaurants’ Northeast Radio Promotions.
As a seasoned copywriter, his clients included Doubleday Books, NFL, Colgate-Palmolive, among other accounts. Steve also wrote and produced the Fringe Festival comedy hit, The Bardy Bunch – War Of The Family’s Partridge and Brady which is currently set to run off-Broadway in January 2014
